raytheonGoogle may have been a pioneer in challenging students with codes and brain teasers, but if you want to blow Google out of the water, Raytheon is one company that can do it (literally).

I just found out about Raytheon’s Cyber Wars site recently and went in and played around.  The nice clean layout makes for a great user experience.  I like how they included some flash, optional audio, and relevant news.  Options to follow on Twitter or Facebook and ability to share the site appear up top as well.

The real cool aspect is that Raytheon has several flash-based games that are quite addictive.  If you are a Sudoku fan looking for some new challenges, check out the cipher and code breaker games.  Once you complete a game, you have the option to signup to learn more about Raytheon events and jobs.

Overall the only surprising thing was that there was no link back to their college recruitment site that I could find, but that’s something they can quickly adjust.

If you are looking to build a career site that draws students in, make sure to follow Raytheon’s lead.

    It is a great site.

What makes it especially great is it makes the candidate self-selection process interactive and fun.
