GURconnect was founded on November 1, 2009, as a weblog dedicated to profiling the world of university recruiting. In addition to covering companies and organizations on campus, we also invite vendors making an impact in university recruiting to post case studies on how they have helped clients succeed.

We currently have contributors from the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. So if you see “Organizaton” and are used to “Organisation” or if you see “Career Centre” and are used to “Career Center” please understand it is not a typo. We are actively seeking contributors in other parts of the world.
